Michael Lowry is working at IBM in Sweden. He is one of the 3600 internal bloggers at the company. He also blogs on a public weblog and there he is saying:

“Blogging in the corporate environment is emerging as a new means of collaboration among coworkers. It has also begun to attract the interest of business consultants offering advice on communications within organizations.”

In an interview with Frederik Wacka he gives us a glance into IBM’s corporate blogging. Also Philippe Borremans (PR manager for IBM in Belgium and Luxembourg) adds his thoughts about the IBM blogs:

“Blogging is from a communications point of view not considered a standard tool, although this will probably change. The Communications function is starting to look at how we can communicate official internal communication through blogs”, says Philippe.”
