SPAM poison

On June 23, 2005, in Web/Technologie, by Hans Mestrum

One of the things I discoverd wondering throught the TypePadders Ring is that a lot of the weblogs have the SPAM poison logo on it. So I looked on the website Anti-spam (this is dutch, but you can choose a lot of languages). By using a logo and a script emailcrawlers are redirected and faked with random email addresses. A nice tool to fight some spam. Of course I placed the logo and script on my weblog (at the bottom of my blog).

"Foil the spam robots crawling your blog for email addresses with SpamPoison." The icing on your electronic cake. The Guardian, UK"
